Overcoming picky eating and getting your kiddos to try new food means change it up, change it up, change it up. I get it; we are all busy and always on-the-go, who has time to think about how to change it up?! Well it can be as easy as packing it up. For me personally, changing the way food is presented has worked the best w my kiddos. That means, changing the environment (eating outside, having a picnic inside, breakfast in bed). Also actually changing how you present the food (snacks inside Easter eggs, food on toothpicks, food sorted by colors, food with dips!) It’s seriously endless.
Snack in a bag is by means nothing new BUT today I decided to ditch the plates and put it in a ziplock bag. I literally gave them each a bag of steamed broccoli and guess what? They fell for it! Haha I shouldn’t say fall for it since it sounds like I’m tricking them in some way... am I? Well they loved it and Chanel ate the entire bag almost mindlessly. Next time that broccoli is coming with us on the road!
